I have always loved photography! I was the one in my family who had the camera with me all the time, snapping photos of family members, pets, anything  I found interesting. A New Jersey native, California has been my home since 1987. With a BS degree and a career in obstetrical nursing, my patients also became my subjects. Encouraged by many, my love of photography began to develop into a business that I adore!

I love a journalistic approach. I let kids be kids! Posing and propping are not my usual style. Let their hair fly, let them laugh and get dirty! Children are carefree! My goal is to capture that spirit in every child in a non-intrusive, fun way.

One of my favorite things to do is photograph babies. Having had the privilege of being present at many births during my nursing career I am comfortable in that magical world of the newborn. Those wrinkles and dimples change quickly!

Being a mom has been the best education in the world. It has taught me that children are special and unique. It takes patience & humor to capture that. My goal is to provide both during your session with me.
